The gospel is good news

Kept in the love of God
(Registration info below)

Thank you for your interest in ministering at the annual “Capitol City Pride Event” on Saturday, June 29, 2024. There is an Art & Music Festival held around Percival Landing and Port of Olympia on Saturday from 10am-6pm. (Our hope is to have sufficient coverage where individuals don’t have to stay on the whole time. i.e. Have two ‘shifts’.)

We are going to have a “Free Spiritual Readings” vendor booth at this event, as we did last year. There has been a voice of the Love of God (through Paula Otano’s ministry - Disire Ministries) at this event for many years.

Our one goal is this: Deliver the Love of God through prophetic words & other spiritual gifts to help the event participants have an authentic God encounter.

When we are asked by people “Who are you and why are you here”, our response is:

We love Jesus, and he still speaks today and has something good to say to you.

We are not there to debate, argue, or convince people to change their lives. Our sole purpose is to love them with revelation, not to require repentance.

'But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives. '

Jude 1:20-23

This kind of ministry is NOT for all Christians. It is challenging at many levels. We are looking for believers to attend and participate in the booth, and we are asking people to support us by joining our ministry event prayer team.

Team Training:  We will have some resources available to help you succeed in this ministry.   We will also provide some guidelines to assist. If you have any questions, please call David Gans at 360-556-0813

Read below for some testimonies from previous years!

I loved ministering with Sandra over a young girl, watching Sandra say that she saw her hiding under a bed and covering her ears, hiding from the noise, fighting and chaos. She responded that it’s still happening. Sandra boldly declared identity over this young woman, using terms like she and girl, and completely unaware that this young lady had a sticker on her shirt that said “my pronouns are he/him“. We later found out in the conversation that she is only 11 years old, and she already thinks she’s a boy. God definitely gave her food for thought over the issue of identity.

I loved the numerous times that people were struggling to hide their emotions behind sunglasses or a blank expression, but we clearly knew that they were tearing up and being deeply emotionally affected. This happened more times than I could count.

I loved the fact that our team was able to look beyond appearances that were sometimes cold, harsh, or confusing, and see hearts that needed love, affection, and affirmation. It was amazing.

I loved speaking to a young black woman named Olivia, who was a mom, while her white husband waited outside the tent with their young child. I gave her a word that their marriage was a powerful thing in their family lines, and that they were creating some thing that had never been seen before in either of their families. This was a little challenging to deliver, but it really resonated with her.

We gave words to a lesbian couple who had a young daughter with them. It was powerful to see how declaring identity and calling out the gold in these two women melted their hearts. One of the moms put on her sunglasses so we couldn’t see her emotions, but it was clear that she was deeply touched.

I loved Mary boldly sharing that she sensed that one young woman had been abused, and that God never meant for that to happen to her. Her mouth literally dropped open, and she shared many times that ’her mind was blown’.  She was amazed and overwhelmed (in the best way).
